Government Program Access & Expertise
Through our affiliate, the Urban Development Fund (UDF), we offer tremendous expertise in the structuring and syndication of New Markets Tax Credits, Historic Tax Credits and other forms of government subsidies and incentives. Established in 2002 and qualified as a Community Development Entity (CDE) by the U.S. Treasury, UDF, along with Aries Capital, has syndicated over $500 million in New Markets Tax Credits and Historic Tax Credits. Projects include the rehabilitation of historic hotels in New Orleans and Louisville (such as the famous The Roosevelt New Orleans), renovations of regional malls in Minneapolis and Dallas, the redevelopment of a retail center in San Diego, and the new construction of a medical office building in Chicago.
