A long-time Chicago-area resident, Joe has 29 years of experience in commercial real estate development, financing, operations and investment. Joe’s father launched the development, consulting and commercial brokerage firm, Perry Commercial, in 1957. Joe purchased and took over leadership of the company in 2000. Through it and other affiliates and partnerships, he has developed, financed and operated over $180 million in commercial real estate projects; with a strong focus on multifamily and healthcare properties. During his long career, Joe has provided clients with expertise in development, all types of financing, the disposition of existing properties, land acquisition, and build-to-suit and leaseback of new facilities.
In addition to arranging financing for clients nationwide, Perry uses his extensive market knowledge and experience to identify investment and development opportunities for both Conlon & Co and its real estate brokerage Conlon Commercial, and is a partner in various entrepreneurial ventures. As the owner of commercial real estate financing advisory and development company, Perry Group, Ltd., he also owns and operates several independent senior living facilities throughout Illinois.

Joe attended Eastern Illinois University and the University of Colorado at Boulder. He is the author of numerous articles and active within Chicago’s Real Estate Investment Association.
